Thursday and Friday is 'tag and test' time again.
All appliances, cords, power boards and power adapters will be tested. Excepted are computers. They are NOT tested. In theory if a computer is plugged via a power board, they are supposed to skip testing that power board - but in the past they HAVE unplugged computers to test the power distribution board, so be aware.
If you have ACFR laptop power adapters at home, please bring them in so that they can be tested.
The tester will probably begin quite early before most of us arrive in the office.
It will speed things up if you leave the cords and other items that need testing (most will have blue tag from last years testing) on the ends of your desks where the tester can easily see them.
Please if something ends up with red or yellow 'danger tag' please do NOT just plug it back in, please check with me and we can determine why they failed it and sort out a safe alternative for you.
